As well as Junior and Leaving Cert programmes, we offer an exciting
Transition Year programme.
More information is available on this in our
Transition Year section.
We understand that some students can find it difficult to study effectively at
home so supervised study is available in the evenings.

Sometimes parents and students are not aware of the choices available
to them in the senior cycle (the final two years in secondary school). Students
can opt to take the Leaving Cert Vocational Programme (LCVP) as an add-on to
their existing Leaving Cert. The LCVP programme enhances the vocational
dimension of the Leaving Certificate and places emphasis on student's
innovation and enterprise.
The Leaving Cert Applied programme is available as an alternative to the
traditional Leaving Certificate. It is a distinct, self-contained two-year
programme aimed at preparing students for adult and working life.
More information on these programmes is available from the Department Of Education's
Second Level Support Service.
Curriculum, Syllabus & Teaching Guides for all the subjects mentioned below are
available from the Department Of Education website.

Transition Year
This is a one-year programme taken between Junior Certificate and Leaving

This year helps to develop the skills that students require for the vocational
